Shelly Sheetz scored a game-high 26 points and No. 3 Colorado (14-0, 24-2) ended a perfect Big Eight season by edging Kansas State 77-74 in Manhattan, Kan.

In Charlottesville, Va., Jeffra Gausepohl scored 15 points, including six in a first-half run that put No. 6 Virginia (16-0 Atlantic Coast Conference, 22-3) out of Maryland’s (2-14, 10-17) reach at 56-41.

Missy Masley scored 21 points in her final regular season game in State College, Pa., as eighth-ranked Penn State (13-3 Big Ten, 22-4) defeated Ohio State (7-9, 14-12) 83-70.

In Nashville, Tenn., Freshman Lisa Ostrom scored 20 points and No. 10 Vanderbilt (8-3 SEC, 23-6) dominated the boards in downing South Carolina (1-10, 11-15) 98-58.

Gwen Doyle scored 20 points to lead No. 11 Western Kentucky (10-2 Sun Belt, 21-3) to an 85-57 victory over Arkansas State (8-5, 17-9) in Bowling Green, Ky.

Karen Jones and Christy Smith scored 16 points each to pace No. 16 Arkansas (7-4 Southwest Conference, 21-5) to an 86-63 victory over Mississippi State (1-10, 9-17) in Fayetteville, Ark.

In Gainesville, Fla., Murriel Page scored four of her 15 points in overtime and No. 17 Florida’s (7-4 SEC, 22-7) defense held Auburn (6-5, 17-9) scoreless in the extra session during a 62-54 Gator victory.

Oregon State reserve center Dawn Lewis scored 17 points in Corvallis, Ore., to lead the No. 21 Beavers (10-4 Pac-10, 18-5) to a 92-49 rout of Arizona State (2-13, 8-16).

In Lawrence, Kan., Angela Aycock, playing her final regular-season game, recorded a triple-double with 25 points, 10 assists and 10 steals and added six rebounds as No. 24 Kansas (8-6 Big Eight, 18-9) beat Missouri (4-9, 14-11) 94-65.

Mandy Wade scored 30 points as No. 25 Oklahoma (11-3, 19-7) defeated Oklahoma St. 76-67 in Big Eight play in Norman, Okla., and dropped the Cowgirls to 7-7 and 16-10.
