Bow Hunter Charged
A bow hunter from Yelm, Wash., has been charged with second-degree assault, possession of stolen property, illegal hunting and other offenses.
Charges were filed against John D. Games, 42, active in the Washington State Bowhunters Association, following an investigation that began in Yakima with a tip on the state’s poaching hotline.
Games is charged with possession of a tent and stove that had been stolen from eastern Lewis County on Dec. 6, possessing deer, elk and mountain goat out of season, and possession of marijuana.
