Burglar Takes Cash From Wishing Star Foundation

Someone stole about $120 last week from an organization that grants requests from children with life-threatening injuries.

The director of the Wishing Star Foundation reported Friday that someone broke into the foundation’s office at W539 Sharp and took the cash, according to Spokane police.

The break-in occurred sometime between Tuesday and Friday, police reported. They have no suspects.

Wishing Star collects private donations and uses the money to pay for things like trips and pets requested by sick kids.
