Felicia Reese Spokane

Memorial service for Felicia Ann Reese was Saturday at the Harvest Christian Fellowship, N1316 Lincoln. Graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.

Riplinger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Reese died Dec. 28 from a gunshot wound. She was 22.

Born in Salt Lake City, she moved to Spokane 16 years ago.

She graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1991 and was a secretary and teacher’s aide at Dynamic Christian Academy.

She was a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and was a member of the Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Bucher of Spokane; her stepfather, Ron Harvey of Spokane; her father, Kenneth Reese of Pittsburgh; her grandparents and several nieces and nephews.

Hazel Kuhlman Spokane

A private family inurnment for Hazel S. Kuhlman will be at a later date at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor, Wash., was in charge of cremation and arrangements.

Mrs. Kuhlman, 93, died Wednesday. She was born in Spokane to pioneer Spokane residents William and Elise (Flekinger) Sorrille. Her father founded the Spokane Tile and Mantle Co. in Spokane in the late 1800s.

She attended Lewis and Clark High School and married Herman H. Kuhlman in 1922.

The Kuhlmans were active in local trapshoots in Spokane for many years.

She was a life member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and was a member of The Spokane Club and the Manito Golf & Country Club.

Mr. Kuhlman preceded her in death.

She moved to Oak Harbor last month due to poor health.

Survivors include a daughter, Sally McMurray of Oak Harbor; a sister, Mari Sorrille of Laguna Hills, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.

Opal Allen Spokane

Service and burial for Opal Dorine Allen was Friday at Fairmount Memorial Park.

Mrs. Allen, 68, died Dec. 27.

Born in Spirit Lake, Idaho, she moved to Spokane 28 years ago.

She worked for Old National Bank before retiring after 24 years.

Mrs. Allen was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

Her husband, William H. Allen II, died in 1978.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Ceridono of Driggs, Idaho, and Jennifer Allen of San Francisco; a son, Bill Allen of Spokane; a sister, Doris White of Spokane; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, N900 Maple, Spokane 99201.

Jennie Breckenridge Colville, Wash.

Service for Jennie L. Breckenridge, 91, was Thursday at Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville. Graveside services were held Friday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park Cemetery in Yakima.

Mrs. Breckenridge, a longtime Colville resident, died Dec. 25. She was born in Boscobel, Wis.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Lee Breckenridge, died in 1938.

She is survived by a son, Roy Breckenridge of Colville.
