Top 25/Big Sky

Eric Moore scored 20 points and No. 25 Penn tied an Ivy League record with its 30th consecutive conference victory Friday night, beating Harvard 90-63 in an Ivy League basketball game at Cambridge, Mass.

The Quakers (1-0, 7-1) haven’t lost a conference game since March 6, 1992, matching the record set by the school from 1969-71. And they have played well outside the league, too.

Since an opening-night loss to Canisius, Penn has won seven in row, including victories over ranked Michigan and St. John’s teams that helped put the Quakers into the Top 25 for only the second time since 1979.

Mike Gilmore scored 21 points - hitting 5 of 10 3-point shots - for Harvard (1-1, 3-9), which has lost six in a row.

Oral Roberts 75, N. Arizona 58

Clifford Crenshaw scored 20 points, including four 3-point baskets, as the Golden Eagles (4-7) defeated the Lumberjacks (3-8) of the Big Sky at Tulsa, Okla.

Northern Arizona sliced a 15-point deficit to 53-50 in the second half before consecutive 3-pointers by Crenshaw, Tim Gill and Raymond Roberts pushed the Oral Roberts lead back to 62-50.

Northern Arizona missed 18 shots in the lane and shot 35.1 percent for the game.

Weber St. 101, BYU-Hawaii 66

Ruben Nembhard scored 26 points, 18 of them in the first half, while teammate Kirk Smith added 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Wildcats (7-5) of the Big Sky rolled to an easy victory over the Seasiders (11-7) at Ogden, Utah.
