Mildred Schoeff Yuma, Ariz.

Private cremation rites were held for Mildred Allene Schoeff. Ryzek Yuma Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schoeff, 80, died Dec. 21. Born in Dodge City, Kan., she graduated from high school in Cimarron, Kan., in 1933.

She later moved to Spokane where she attended business school.

Mrs. Schoeff was a buyer/manager for The Crescent until she retired.

She and her husband, Russell, became winter residents of Yuma and she became a full-time resident after his death.

Mrs. Schoeff was a member of the Amaranth in Spokane.

Survivors include a brother, Lloyd Dewey of Cimarron; a sister, Harriet Gay of Holcomb, Kan.; three nephews and two nieces.

Rolland ‘Buck’ Villers Colville, Wash.

Graveside service for Rolland “Buck” Villers, 83, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Villers died Tuesday. Born in Sedgwick, Colo., he attended school in Mountain Grove, Mo.

He moved to Colville in 1935 and served in the Army during World War II. He returned to Colville and worked for the Celshot Mill. He retired in 1962.

Mr. Villers was a member of the Colville American Legion, Frank Star Post and was a former member of the Colville Eagles Aerie.

Survivors include his wife, Earline; two daughters, Kathy Walker of Carson City, Nev., and Jo Day of Colville; four sons, Tom Villers of Carson City, Jack Villers of Waitts Lake, Wash., and Dan Villers and Rick Villers, both of Colville; a brother, Dale Villers of Colville; two sisters, Madge McCarthy of Colville and Pauline Leffler of Lebanon, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Frank Machart Spokane

No funeral service is planned for Frank D. Machart, 58, at his request. A memorial service is set for later. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Machart died Dec. 30 of a heart attack. Born in Bemidji, Minn., he moved to the Spokane County 26 years ago.

He worked in the logging industry.

Mr. Machart was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Machart and Mike Machart, both of Spokane; a daughter, Mary Rau of Spokane; three brothers, Earl, Kenneth and Henry; four sisters, Helen, June, Viola and Marie; two grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Irene.
