Tommy Evans of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., rolled games of 269, 279 and 267 to jump from sixth to first after the fourth round of the Tri-Cities PBA Senior Classic at Celebrity Bowl in Kennewick.

Evans, 10-6 in match play, led Larry Laub by seven pinfalls with 34-game total of 8,239. Marty Schweikert was third at 8,193, followed by Teata Semiz at 8,161.

ABC Sports has agreed to telecast live all Indy Racing League events for the 1996 season, IRL executive director Jack Long said. The IRL plans to compete against CART.

IMS Properties, the IRL’s marketing arm, negotiated the rights fee. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
