Bank Opens Branch In Albertsons

U.S. Bank of Washington last week opened a new branch in the Millwood Albertsons store, district manager and Vice President Larry Abrams said.

He said the full-service branch replaced a drive-up facility at E9231 Montgomery, where customers could only make deposits.

The Albertsons branch will not have a drive-up, Abrams said, but will offer all other services seven days a week. A cash machine will be available 24 hours a day.

“It’s a vast improvement for people,” Abrams said.

Montgomery branch accounts have been transferred to the Albertsons facility, which will employ five people, he said.

U.S. Bank has 17 Spokane-area branches.
