Home-Plan Sources Cater To Buyer Interests

There are literally dozens of sources for home plans.

Prices of the “books,” actually magazines or bound catalogs, range from about $3 to $20 or more. Some are available on newsstands only.

Buyers with special interests should inquire whether a given plan firm also offers “niche” books, such as designs for vacation homes or houses for narrow lots.
