St. George’s 77, Northwest Christian 36 The second-ranked Dragons (6-0, 11-1) broke a first-place tie with a rout at NWC. They led 42-15 at halftime and got 31 points and eight rebounds from Chrissy Peterson.

Cara Longinotti added 16 for St. George’s and Dawn Trowbridge 14, while Jenni Wright had 18 points and eight rebounds for Northwest Christian (5-1, 7-4).

Stinson was 1 for 7 from the field in the first period and scoreless in the fourth, but she had 15 rebounds and scoring support from Andee Marriott, who had 14 points. Sheri Dehn scored 17 points to lead Liberty (4-3, 6-7).

LaCrosse-Washtucna trailed by five points after one period, but the Cats eventually outscored Rosalia by 14 points at the foul line, where the Spartans hit only 1 of 2. Stacie Baumann also had 16 points for the Tigercats and Beth Scheele scored 10 for Rosalia.
