Holiday Closes Schools, Services

Many public services are affected Monday by the Martin Luther King holiday:

Schools: Public schools will be closed.

Government: City, county, state and federal offices are also closed.

Mail: There will be no postal service.

Garbage: City garbage collectors will pick up trash Monday, but the Valley Garbage Service will not.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority buses will run on regular schedules.

Libraries: Spokane city libraries will be closed, but county libraries will be open.

Parking meters: Meters will be checked on Monday.
