Tonight 7:30 P.M. Lazer Vaudeville Show, Panida Theater
9 P.M. Bop ‘n’ Bowl to ‘50s and ‘60s music, Sandpoint Bowl
9 P.M. Ms. Winter Carnival Contest, Mitzy’s Lounge
Saturday ALL DAY Snow sculptures (site will be
determined depending on snow cover)
ALL DAY Chili Cook-off, Edgewater Resort, registration at 9 a.m., cook-off at 10 a.m.
1 P.M. Teddy Bear Contest, Bonner Mall. Enter your bear by 1 p.m. or come and judge from 1-3 p.m. Prizes at 3:30 p.m.
2 P.M. Lazer Vaudeville Show, the Panida
8 P.M. Mr. Winter Carnival Contest, Connie’s Lounge
Sunday ALL DAY Snow sculptures (site will be
determined depending on snow cover)
10:30 A.M. Selkirk Telemark Classic, Schweitzer Mountain Resort
2-4 P.M. Old-fashioned ice-skating party at City Beach. Bring your skates or Rollerblades.
Monday 1 P.M. Snow sculpture judging (Senior
Division). Maps available at the Chamber of Commerce office, Cedar Street Bridge and participating merchants.
5-8 P.M. The Original Taste of Sandpoint at the Cedar Street Bridge features local restaurants offering a sampling of their cuisine.
Tuesday 1 P.M. Motel/Front Desk Championship (the
fastest and most accurate reservationists in town)
1 P.M Snow sculpture judging (Junior Division). Maps available at the Chamber of Commerce office, Cedar Street Bridge and participating schools.
5-7 P.M. Turkey Bowling
7 P.M. Eight or 9-Ball Pool Tournament, Eichardt’s Pub Grill and Coffee House
Wednesday 5 P.M. KPND ski party at Kornpops Sports Bar.
Thursday ALL DAY Chamber Day at Schweitzer
Mountain Resort. Register early by calling Gail Fendley at Schweitzer at 263-9555.
5:30 P.M. Business After Hours at Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
6 P.M. Star Light, Star Night Race Series Final Race at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. For more information, call Gail Fendley at 263-9555.
Jan. 27 6 P.M. Wine and Cheese Tasting Party at
Gregory’s Restaurant in downtown Sandpoint
7 P.M. Winter Carnival Parade of Lights through downtown Sandpoint.
8 P.M. Winter Carnival awards ceremony at the Edgewater Resort, presentation of Mr. and Ms. Winter Carnival. Awards will be presented to snow sculpture contest winners as well as Winter Carnival Parade winners.
8 P.M. Lip-sync contest at Connie’s Lounge
8 P.M. “The Second Animation Celebration: The Movie,” the Panida Theater
8 P.M. Funky-Fantasy-Fashion Ski Wear Contest at the 219 Club. Any “ski” costume goes.
9 P.M. Bop n’ Bowl to ‘50s and ‘60s music at Sandpoint Bowl
Jan. 28 ALL DAY Fudge-A-Rama, Foster’s Crossing
Antique Mall, fudge makers and tasters wanted; the public judges the contest.
11 A.M. Snow Broom Hockey playoffs at City Beach.
1 P.M. Baby Contest and Baby Crawl at Bonner Mall
5 P.M. Torchlight Parade and Fireworks at Schweitzer Mountain Resort
8 P.M. “The Second Animation Celebration: The Movie,” the Panida Theater
Jan. 29 ALL DAY Kid’s Carnival and Balloon Parade
with the Schweitzer Hermit of Schweitzer Mountain Resort
