Reed Seeks Input On Legislation

State Sen. Mary Lou Reed is encouraging District 4 residents to call her local office with their concerns about legislation.

Reed said her office is open five days a week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Staffer Kathy Beechler is available to talk with the public and is in touch with Reed two to three times a day, Reed said in a news release.

The office’s telephone number is 664-1813. Residents of Shoshone and Benewah counties may call (800) 982-1779.

Reed’s Coeur d’Alene office is located on the second floor of the Hart Building at Fourth Street and Sherman Avenue.

Second man pleads guilty to North Idaho road rage murder

An Idaho man pleaded guilty Monday to murder and robbery in the killing of a man that was sparked by road rage in 2016. Justin Roy Booth now faces life in prison for the killing of William “Bo” Kirk, an X-ray technician once described by his son as “the ultimate family man.”
