Lmu Lions Beat Pepperdine, 80-69

Jim Williamson scored 18 points and had seven assists to lead a balanced Loyola Marymount attack Wednesday night as the Lions broke a three-game losing streak by beating Pepperdine, 80-69.

Loyola Marymount (2-3 West Coast Conference, 10-7 overall) took the lead for good by scoring 11 straight points after falling behind 8-4.

Monte Marcaccini led Pepperdine (2-3, 6-11) with 20 points and nine rebounds. Gerald Brown added 18 points.
