Alpine skiing

It’s Zoo Day today at Silver Mountain, featuring $9.93 lift tickets and extended hours until 7 p.m. Info: (208) 783-1111.

The annual Puke Your Guts Out hill climb and ski descent will start at 10 a.m. tomorrow at 49 Degrees North.

Schweitzer will be having its annual Winter Carnival Torchlight Parade and Fireworks on Saturday night.

Nordic skiing

It’s Nordic Ski Day on Saturday on the freshly groomed Upper Wolf trail in the Newport Ranger District with free lessons and ski rentals. Info: 447-7300.

Mount Spokane was groomed Thursday, except for Silver and Larch, and is in good condition for next Sunday’s Langlauf event. Info:325-9000.

Trails at Fourth of July Pass, Snow Creek and Priest Lake were all groomed this week and in excellent condition.

About 170 miles of trail in the Methow Valley were groomed this week.

Snowmobiling

350 miles of freshly groomed trails around Priest Lake are reportedly in excellent condition.

The Methow Valley groomer is still broken but Boulder Creek, Yellowjacket, Goat Creek and 8-mile trails were packed this week and in good shape.
