Stephane Fiset of the Quebec Nordiques, who allowed only five goals in winning four games, has been selected the NHL Player of the Week. Fiset, who beat Philadelphia 3-1, Washington 5-1, Buffalo 7-3 and the New York Rangers 2-0, stopped 117 of 122 shots, a .959 save percentage.
