Bonners Ferry Man Hurt In Rollover

A Bonners Ferry man was injured Saturday night in a one-car rollover accident in Boundary County.

Matthew Brace, 37, lost control of his 1969 Toyota Landcruiser while traveling south on U.S. 95 and overcorrected.

Brace was ejected as his sport utility vehicle rolled across the highway before coming to rest on the left shoulder. He was not wearing a seat belt.

The Idaho State Police said Brace suffered a broken back, fractured skull and collar bone. He was taken to Kootenai Medical Center.

Police believe alcohol was involved.
