Kpbx-Fm Fund-Raiser Benefits Public Radio

Wine, bagpipes and song - it’s all part of An Evening Under the Stars, the annual KPBX-FM fund-raiser at the Arbor Crest Cliff House. The event takes place Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Organized by Katherine Gellhorn, it will start with a social hour from 5:30 to 7:30 (actually, that would be two social hours). Hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6 to 7 and a silent auction will take place.

Music will be provided by Capriccio and there will be a special appearance by the Angus Scott Pipe Band.

At 7:45, the Pamela McGuire Quartet will perform jazz for dancing.

Tickets are $20. Hors d’oeuvres, one glass of wine, and non-alcoholic punch are included. Arbor Crest wines will be available for purchase by the bottle.
