From Staff And Wire Reports

A 10-year-old boy was wounded in the thigh when a loaded gun fell out of a closet and discharged Saturday evening, police said.

The child was apparently removing some clothes from a closet at his north Spokane home when the gun, wrapped in a blanket, fell to the floor and discharged, police said.
