She Can Dump The Body Behind The Trailer Park

If anything ever happens to Ben Thomas, we know who the first suspect will be.

“I think women should be more violent, kill more of their husbands,” sitcom star Roseanne told the New Yorker magazine.

And in a plain case of stating the obvious, she added, “I like the fight. If people are comin’ at you, you don’t just sit there and lay down and go, ‘Oh, bless you.’ That’s not in the human arsenal. To say that women shouldn’t do that is to say women aren’t human.”

As for those women who typically are portrayed as Hollywood feminists - the likes, say, of Jodie Foster, Susan Sarandon and Meryl Streep - Roseanne has little good to say.

“They are, in effect, castrated females,” she said. “Excuse me, but that’s what they are. They’re just too middle-class white.”

Loose talk

Actress Nicole Kidman on husband Tom Cruise: “I’m addicted to Tom. He’s my drug. I adore him.”

These days she’s just a bleached Blondie

Debbie Harry turns 50 today.

Well, he should know a little about true lies

Speaking of Roseanne, her ex-husband Tom Arnold had an interesting meeting with Brad Pitt recently. “He came up to me and said, ‘Oh my God, it’s Tom Arnold! I can’t believe it! I can’t believe I’m meeting Tom Arnold! It’s just great to meet you!”’ But, Arnold asked Details magazine, “Was Brad being genuine? Was he being sarcastic or what?”

Of course, a million doesn’t mean as much as it used to

Charlie Sheen’s career is on the rebound. Not that long out of alcohol rehab, the movie star is now filming an action film titled “The Shadow Conspiracy.” He’s also set to star in a sci-fi effort titled “Shockwave.” He’s being paid $4 million for the former, $5 million for the latter.

Didn’t he also represent Pocahontas in her defamation suit?

Alec Baldwin is set to star in and produce “The Devil and Daniel Webster.” Instead of either title character, however, he’ll play Jabez Stone the man from Stephen Vincent Benet’s short story who sells his soul to the devil.

He still carries the imprint of her face on his pillow

Jim Bakker, ex-televangelist and convicted felon, is living in the hills near Hendersonville, N.C. But, so say his neighbors, the man still hasn’t lost his feelings for ex-wife Tammy Faye Messner. “The walls are covered with pictures of Tammy Faye,” one of Bakker’s neighbors told Penthouse mag, “and there’s a statue of her on the table.”

In fact, she wants to keep a couple of things private

Claudia Schiffer insists that she will not follow the leads of fellow supermodels Cindy Crawford and Elle MacPherson, both of whom have posed nude. “There are some things I just want to keep private,” the German model told Redbook magazine. “Lots of nude pictures are very beautiful. But this is not my thing.”
