Polish Airline Places Boeing Order
LOT Polish Airlines has ordered another Boeing 737 for its fleet, bringing its total to 11. The order is the 150th 737 of the year for Boeing, compared with 120 for all of 1994.
The LOT order, worth $49 million, was announced Tuesday. It is scheduled for 1996 delivery. In the configuration ordered by LOT, it will seat 156 passengers in a dual class business and tourist layout.
LOT also operates four Boeing 767-300s, making it the largest operator of Boeing aircraft in Central Europe.
