Murdered Couple Shot More Than Once

From Staff And Wire Reports

A husband and wife killed earlier this week at their North Side home died of multiple gunshot wounds, an autopsy showed.

Johnny Hagan Jr., 26, and Hong Nga Thi Pham, 23, were found dead Monday in their apartment at 3202 N. Smith.

Both were bound, but detectives haven’t determined a motive for the killings. They have no suspects yet. Spokane County Coroner Dexter Amend refused to provide details on the autopsy results.

Investigators have questioned dozens of people, many in the Vietnamese community. Police said the investigation has been slowed by language difficulties and cultural reluctance on the part of many Asian residents to talk with them.

Detectives are distributing fliers in Vietnamese throughout the community asking for information about the homicides.

The fliers also mention a Secret Witness (327-5111) award of $2,000 cash for information that solves the homicide case.
