Cowboys Courting Sanders

Associated Press

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has offered to let Deion Sanders play wide receiver as well as cornerback in his bid to sign the two-sport star.

Jones said he has discussed the idea with Sanders’ agent, Eugene Parker, and they have even talked about what kind of contract Sanders would want.

“We discuss this with them continually,” Jones said. “The important thing is my interpretation of how likely or viable it is for Deion to be here, and I’m telling you there is a lot of viability here.”
