Accidents Tie Up Rush-Hour Traffic On I-90

Two minor accidents stopped traffic on Interstate 90 during Wednesday evening’s rush hour. No serious injuries were reported in either accident east of downtown Spokane, the Washington State Patrol said.

An accident involving a car and motorcycle about 5:40 p.m. caused delays on eastbound I-90, the state patrol said.

Another three-car accident further complicated the traffic delays on the same stretch of highway.

The state patrol stopped traffic in I-90’s eastbound lanes east of Freya. All lanes were reopened by about 7 p.m.
