Vaughn’s Girlfriend Fears Mo’s Attacker

The girlfriend of Mo Vaughn has reportedly obtained a restraining order against the man who allegedly attacked the Boston Red Sox star in a nightclub last week.

Theron Davis, 26, and Vaughn slugged it out at the Roxy nightclub in downtown Boston on July 13.

“He’s a very violent person and I’m very afraid of him,” Toshya Weaver said in her restraining order petition at Boston Municipal Court. “I’m afraid to leave my house because I think something is going to happen to me.”

“My first concern is for her,” Vaughn told the Boston Herald. “I don’t want her hurt. I still can’t understand why this happened.”

Weaver, who was with Vaughn at the Roxy last week, said Davis licked her face.

“Theron Davis assaulted me and threw his drink in my face,” she said.

Vaughn reportedly retaliated with a punch to Davis, and Davis then tossed a drink in Vaughn’s face. Vaughn was later allegedly attacked by Davis’ friends, leaving him with a black eye.

Vaughn told police he had been kicked.

Police describe Davis, of the city’s Dorchester neighborhood, as a gang member and a convicted felon.

The game’s first 12 runs of the Baltimore-KC game were scored with two out…. All the paperwork has been signed on the sale of the Athletics, which now awaits only major league baseball’s approval, current owner Walter Haas Jr. said of the deal with Oakland businessmen Steve Schott and Ken Hofmann.
