Crash Injures Three Near Bonners Ferry

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Canadian family was flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane after a tractor-trailer accident in Boundary County 20 miles north of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Henri and Barbara Vautour, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, both were in surgery late Wednesday, and their conditions were not available, a nursing supervisor said.

Their 7-year-old son, Gerard, was in satisfactory condition at Sacred Heart.

Henri Vautour was southbound on U.S. Highway 95 when he drove too fast around a curve, according to Idaho State Police. The trailer tipped over, dragging the tractor with it.

No one was wearing a seat belt.
