Using the wind to his advantage, top-ranked Andre Agassi routed Mats Wilander 6-2, 6-0 in the semifinals of the Canadian Open.
Agassi will be seeking his 400th career victory today when he faces No. 2 Pete Sampras, who defeated Thomas Enqvist of Sweden 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3).
Wilander, 30, the world’s No. 1 player in 1988, was enjoying his best week since returning to the ATP Tour last year after a 22-month retirement.
