Boat Ramp Death Ruled Homicide

From Staff And Wire Reports

Autopsy results show a 55-year-old man found shot to death in his van at a Lewiston boat ramp was a homicide victim.

Police at first thought David H. Morrison’s death might be a suicide because nothing in the van seemed disturbed or indicated a struggle, and Morrison’s wallet was still in his back pocket, Lt. William Stewart said.

Morrison’s body was discovered by family members Tuesday morning in his van parked at the Clearwater Boat Ramp.

Stewart said investigators have some leads in the case, but have no indication of a motive yet.
