Brothers Given Prison Sentences

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two brothers who used a BB pistol to rob cabdrivers, restaurants and a bank have been sentenced to prison.

Scott Dean Brammer, 34, and his brother Richard, 32, both transients, were arrested near Fishermen’s Terminal in February when they drove a stolen taxi into a dead-end street with police in pursuit.

Scott Brammer, the leader, was sentenced to more than 13 years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to six counts of first-degree robbery. Richard Brammer was sentenced to almost 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of first-degree robbery and one count of rendering criminal assistance.
