The owners of the Tacoma Rockets say they have agreed to sell the hockey club. The new owner would move the franchise to Kelowna, British Columbia.

New owner Gordon Oxley of Anoa Corp. of Edmonton, Alberta, will begin play in Kelowna in the 1995-96 season.

The Western Hockey League has approved the purchase and the transfer request.
