Turnbow Appointed To Board Vacancy

From Staff Reports

The Post Falls School Board has appointed Donagene Turnbow to fill a position vacated by Joanne Brown last month.

Turnbow has been active in the school district for many years, serving in parent-teacher groups, coaching academic teams and participating in other volunteer work.

She has a fourth-grader at Seltice Elementary and a son at Washington State University. Turnbow works as a legal assistant for the law firm of Wetzel & Fasnacht.

The board chose Turnbow from among five applicants including Cliff James, Thomas Scott, Dan Mouchette and Sarah Polk.

“That is so fabulous to see that many people interested in being a school district trustee,” said board clerk Susan Smith.
