9-Year-Old Girl Dies In 1-Car Rollover

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 9-year-old girl from Washington died in a one-car rollover on Interstate 94 about 11 miles west of here, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

Breanna Biles of Cowiche, Wash., died Friday after the car she was in entered a ditch, apparently because the driver fell asleep, the patrol said. The child was thrown from the car and died at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.

Driver Barbara Kay Tate, 47, and passenger Jacob Lynn Tate, 46, both wearing seat belts, were not injured. The Tates are from Yakima.
