Mr. And Mrs. Schierman Edmonds, Wash.

Harold and Betty (Bittner) Schierman, Edmonds, formerly of Lancaster, Wash., recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at St. John Community Building, St. John, Wash.

Hosts for the event were their children: Kathleen Christensen, Okanogan; Linda Schierman, Seattle; and Gail Justesen and David Schierman, both of Spokane.

Married June 23, 1945, in Spokane, the Schiermans have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
