Jimmie Williams Spokane

Service for Jimmie E. Williams, 56, is planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Williams died last Sunday.

He was born in Blytheville, Ark.

He moved to Spokane in 1975 and worked for Spokane Steel until 1979.

Mr. Williams was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and the United Auto Workers union.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lucy Williams; two stepsons, Terry and Fred Redmon, both of Spokane; one stepdaughter, Maxine Redmond of Spokane; three brothers, Charlie Williams Jr. of Chicago, Roy Williams of Peoria, Ill., and Ettrec Williams of Elkhart, Ind.; three sisters, Charlene Bell, Canzata Williams and Zada Mae Williams, all of Peoria; and four grandchildren.
