Earthquake Felt South Of Longview

A small earthquake centered 15 miles south of Longview jolted southwest Washington on Monday night.

The quake occurred at 8:09 p.m., the University of Washington’s seismology lab reported. The lab reported the quake had a 3.0 magnitude.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, a Cowlitz County dispatcher said.

The quake was felt throughout the Longview and Woodland areas.
