Haselrig Must Stand Trial
Former Pittsburgh Steelers guard Carlton Haselrig must stand trial on three charges related to his allegedly drunken drive across the grounds of a church.
Haselrig, an NFL All-Pro in 1992, is accused of drunken driving, carrying a concealed weapon and criminal mischief. Chief Magistrate Donald Machen said there was enough evidence to try Haselrig, and he was released on bond.
Last December, Haselrig, 29, drove his four-wheel-drive vehicle up steps and across a lawn at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. A gun was found beneath the seat of the vehicle.
