Sex Offender Living Downtown

A convicted sex offender considered a high risk for violent behavior has been released from prison and is living in downtown Spokane.

David R. Gillock, 22, was convicted of the rape of a 14-year-old girl, and of six counts of indecent liberties involving boys and girls ranging in age from 3 to 14.

He is a Level III sex offender. Such offenders are considered the most dangerous and likely to reoffend.

Gillock’s address was unavailable from police. He is not to have contact with anyone under 18.

The Department of Corrections said Gillock is “an untreated sex offender who may be a high risk for reoffense” and is “seriously impaired and disturbed, and is a high risk for violent behavior.”

Gillock is white, 6 feet tall, and weighs 165 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
