Nash Will Return

Compiled From Wire Services

The Seattle Seahawks have signed 14-year veteran defensive tackle Joe Nash for another season.

The 6-foot-3, 278-pound Nash joined the Seahawks in 1982 as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College.

He’s played in 194 games for Seattle. That’s more than any other player except the now-retired Steve Largent, who played in 200.

The Los Angeles Raiders cleared another hurdle in their possible move to Hollywood Park when the National Football League recommended approval of the financing for a proposed new stadium at the horse racing complex.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have resigned free safety Darren Perry to a oneyear contract. Terms were not disclosed.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed veteran offensive tackle Bruce Wilkerson and waived tackle Ivory Dillard. xxxx
