UI Students Accepted Into Phi Eta Sigma

The University of Idaho’s chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, general freshman honorary, has accepted the following students into membership:

Cottonwood: Jon Munkers, sophomore majoring in mining engineering.

Genesee: Joshua Lukas, sophomore majoring in computer engineering.

Grangeville: Daniel Hedberg, freshman majoring in psychology; George Reinhardt, freshman majoring in political science.

Kendrick: Brian Silflow, freshman majoring in agribusiness; Michelle Taylor, freshman majoring in secondary education.

Lewiston: Taleesah Becker, freshman majoring in veterinary science; Debra Curry, junior majoring in anthropology; Amy Gaines, freshman majoring in general studies; Teresa Helsley, sophomore majoring in international studies; Lisa Lannigan, freshman majoring in journalism; Christine Luper, freshman majoring in psychology; Mark Mills, freshman majoring in finance; Sarah Pilcher, sophomore majoring in anthropology.

Moscow: Nancy Bockino, a sophomore majoring in forestry wildlife resources; Karen Cloud, sophomore majoring in chemical engineering; James Craig, freshman majoring in business; Rachel Himsl, sophomore majoring in microbiology; Jedediah McProud, sophomore majoring in physics; Teresa Rice, freshman majoring in psychology; Ann Miller, sophomore majoring in elementary education; Alex Sasser, freshman majoring in international studies; Cael Savage, junior majoring in electrical engineering; Jayme Strong, freshman majoring in microbiology; Tracie Theissen, freshman majoring in English; and Amy Shumaker, freshman majoring in general studies.

Troy: Allison Smith, freshman majoring in prephysical therapy; and Jesse Thomas, freshman majoring in history major.

The University of Idaho chapter of Phi Sigma Society, the biological sciences honorary, has inducted 17 students. The new members include:

Lewiston: Hallie Henderson, a junior wildlife resources major.

Orofino: Sara Crockett, a junior botany major.

St. Maries: Paul Larson, a senior fish and wildlife resources major.

Two Spokane students were recognized recently at Carroll College’s 11th annual honors convocation in Helena: Sophomore Susan Goffinet as a member of the National Omicron Psi Honor Society for nontraditional students; and senior Robyn Schumaker as an Honors Scholar graduate.
