Riddick Bowe will fight unbeaten Jorge Luis Gonzalez tonight at the MGM Grand Garden at Las Vegas. And experts agree that he needs to put his words into action.
“Most people know I’m the best heavyweight out there,” said Bowe.
But there seem to be a growing number of doubters, however, because Bowe has talked a better game than he has played since losing the WBA and IBF titles to Evander Holyfield on Nov. 6, 1993.
The feeling is that if Bowe wants to be a factor in the Mike Tyson sweepstakes, he must not only win, but he must look impressive in defense of his WBO title.
