Secret Witness Seeks Assault Suspect

An assault suspect is this week’s Secret Witness target.

Derrick James Takeshita, 24, has been convicted of first-degree child molestation and writing bad checks.

He is currently wanted for assault involving substantial bodily harm.

He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

He has used the alias James Steckler.

Anyone with information on James Takeshita is asked to call Secret Witness at 327-5111 any time. A cash reward is offered, and callers do not have to give their names.

Secret Witness is a civilian organization not affiliated with law enforcement. Callers may use code names or numbers to identify themselves.
