Wimbledon Sets Pairings

Defending champions Pete Sampras and Conchita Martinez didn’t get any special treatment when the seeds were passed out for the Wimbledon tennis championships.

Sampras, the two-time defending champion and winner Sunday of the prestigious Queen’s Club grass-court warmup, will be seeded No. 2 behind Andre Agassi when play begins next Monday at the All England Club.

Martinez was seeded third behind Steffi Graf and Arantxa Sanchez Vicario.
