Turner Wouldn’t Mind Wolves On Ranch Associated Press

Even Ted Turner doesn’t have everything - yet.

On the top of his wish list: wolves on his 130,000 acre Montana ranch and to own one of the big three television networks.

“I’d like some here,” he said while discussing wolves being reintroduced into Yellowstone National Park. “I’d especially like it if they culled some of the elk. Of course it would be another story if they bothered my bison.

“I sound like a cattle rancher, don’t I?” he says.

But Turner, owner of Cable News Network, isn’t a fan of cows.

“Cattle are bred to be stupid, lazy and fat. Anything that lazy gets fat,” he told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle recently. “I have nothing against cattle ranchers. I just don’t like cows.”
