Salesman Charged In Murder Spree

Compiled From Wire Services

A building-supply salesman was charged Monday with strangling six prostitutes and dumping their bodies in residential neighborhoods.

Rory Enrique Conde, 30, admitted picking up the streetwalkers and killing them at his apartment, Metro-Dade police said. The only explanation he gave for the four-month spree was that he was having problems with his estranged wife, police said.

The killer had terrorized streetwalkers along a strip of low-rent motels and strip malls.
