Yosemite Tourists Turned Back Again

Compiled From Wire Services

For the sixth weekend in a row, tourists trying to visit Yosemite National Park without reservations were turned back because of gridlock.

“It’s probably the hardest job we do,” ranger Kristine Hutchinson said. “Some people take it pretty well. Some people don’t.”

More than 4 million people came to Yosemite last year, nearly twice as many as visited in 1981.
