A shooting at an Army barrack Thursday left two soldiers dead and another wounded, authorities said.
The shootings occurred at a Custer Hill barrack on this Army post just before 6 p.m., Maj. Ben Santos said. The wounded soldier was in stable condition at a base hospital.
One of the soldiers killed was believed to have been the gunman, Sgt. Greg Binford said. No military weapon was used in the attack, he said. The Army gave no other details on the shooting.
All three soldiers were male. Their names were being withheld while relatives were notified.
