Chamber Executives To Gather In Cda

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Coeur d’Alene Resort and the Coeur d’Alene Area Chamber of Commerce announced Friday that they have lured a convention of regional chamber of commerce leaders.

The 1996 Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska Chamber Leaders conference will be held in Coeur d’Alene after 29 years in Portland, said Pat McGaughey, president and general manager of the Coeur d’Alene chamber.

The three-day event will feature 300 chamber executives and staff members from cities across the region, McGaughey said. Delegates attend professional development sessions in a variety of topic areas.

“To have every chamber in the Pacific Northwest here to get a first-hand look at Coeur d’Alene can only help when they are giving directions to Idaho from their respective chambers,” he said.
