Montessori Sign-Up Wednesday

An enrollment meeting for new students to the Montessori elementary school program in the Spokane School District will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the district office, 200 N. Bernard.

Parents interested in enrolling their first- through sixth-grade children must attend the meeting. The Montessori program has classrooms at Balboa and Jefferson elementary schools.

The program is based on Italian educator Maria Montessori’s philosophy of child-centered education.
