Mysteries Remain In D.C. Zoo Death

Associated Press

The medical examiner was still trying to determine Sunday what killed an unidentified woman whose partially devoured body was found in the lions’ pen at the National Zoo.

And police said they were working on figuring out how the woman got over a 9-foot wall and 26-foot moat.

A newspaper reported the victim appeared to be in her mid- to late 20s and was carrying identification showing she was from Little Rock, Ark.
