Armed Man Robs North Spokane Bank

From Staff Reports

A gray-haired man held up a north Spokane bank Monday afternoon, police said.

The robber entered First Interstate Bank, N7404 Division, shortly before 5 p.m. and showed a revolver to one of the tellers.

He demanded cash, which he received, and got into a car waiting outside. Witnesses said a female was driving the getaway car, which was burgundy over silver and possibly had Oregon plates, police said.

The robber was described as white, 45 to 50 years old, about 6 feet 2 inches tall with short, straight gray hair. He wore a camouflage baseball hat, black sunglasses, a navy blue jacket that fell below the waist and dark pants.

It was unclear how much money was taken. Police have no suspects.
